It's been quite a ride over the past two years for the Texhoma Amateur Radio Group. From forming the group, to building a DMR repeater, and now we have had two repeaters donated.
A few years ago, this area lost a treasure, with the passing of N5LEZ, George Ancell. Knowledgeable and friendly doesn't begin to cover it. He was a true example of what a ham radio operator should be. The 147.120, and 444.975 repeaters have been donated to the Texhoma Amateur Radio Group. Each continues to have the pl tone of 192.8, and in the spirit of the Texhoma Amateur Radio Group and George, they are open for any licensed operator to use.
The 147.12 repeater is linked in with "the network" through echolink. To connect via echolink, the callsign is N5TRG-L
